Basketball Game Preview: Zachary Broncos vs. Natchitoches Central Chiefs

Zachary is a perfect 4-0 against Natchitoches Central since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Broncos will head out on the road to face off against the Chiefs at 8:30 p.m. Zachary will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak dating back to last season.

Zachary proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 32) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Bossier, sneaking past 53-50.

Ian Edmond was the offensive standout of the game as he shot 54% from the field to rack up 18 points. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Aidan Givens was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Meanwhile, Natchitoches Central was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Hicks 81-46.

Zachary's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Natchitoches Central, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Everything went Zachary's way against Natchitoches Central when the teams last played back in March, as Zachary made off with a 65-45 victory. Do the Broncos have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chiefs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
