Softball Recap: East Bladen Comes Up Short

East Bladen managed to slip by Pender the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. East Bladen lost 12-1 to Pender on Tuesday. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

East Bladen saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Niyah Wooten, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

East Bladen's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Pender, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

While East Bladen had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
