Soccer Recap: Evans Starts Season with Win Against South Effingham

Evans had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. Their defense stepped up to hand the South Effingham Mustangs a 4-0 shutout. Wren Chochol was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Looking ahead, Evans will head out on the road to take on Douglas County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Effingham, they will be playing at home against Southeast Bulloch at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
