It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Weimar can now relate to. They fell 35-23 to the Refugio Bobcats on Friday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Leading Refugio to victory were Ray Lewis and Zander Wills. Lewis rushed for 121 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries, while Wills rushed for 128 yards and one score while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. An impressive showing, but Wills really ramped things up playing D: he made 21 total tackles (4.0 for loss) and defended two passes. Fabian Garcia also deserves a mention for his punt return touchdown.

Weimar's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Refugio, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
