Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pine Grove walked away with it. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Trinity Shamrocks on Monday. The victory was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Callee Leffler was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. Madison Shiffer was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Pine Grove's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-6.

As of now, neither Pine Grove nor the Shamrocks have any future games scheduled.
