Recap: Bedford Bearcats vs. Brush Arcs

The Bedford Bearcats lost against the Brush Arcs back in December of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Bedford took a serious blow against Brush, falling 59-32. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bedford has scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why Bedford lost, one person who can't be blamed is Terrell Pollard. Despite the final result, he scored seven points along with ten rebounds and four blocks. Pollard is crushing the rebound category: he's posted at least ten every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of JJ Hudson, who scored six points.

Bedford has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Brush, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bedford will take on Lorain at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lorain knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Bedford likes a good challenge. As for Brush, they will be playing at home against Start at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Start will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while Brush is ranked 150th).
