Soccer Game Preview: Northside vs. Rogers

Northside is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will head out on the road to challenge the Rogers Mountaineers at 5:30 p.m. Rogers took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Northside, who comes in off a win.

While Northside fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Friday's season opener. They skirted past De Queen 2-1. The Grizzlies haven't had any issues with the Leopards recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Rogers' game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Bryant by a score of 1-0. The Mountaineers haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Northside suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Rogers in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Northside avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
