Game recap: Cathedral Prep tops St. Francis

ERIE, Pa. - Billy Fessler threw four touchdowns and Felix Manus-Schell caught three as Cathedral Prep (Erie, Pa.) beat St. Francis (Athol Springs, N.Y.) 49-14 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter, the Ramblers were up 35-0 at the half.

Cathedral Prep grew its lead to 49 points entering the fourth quarter. CP scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by Fessler to Manus-Schell.

The Erie school put up 27 points in the first quarter en route to the win. The Ramblers scored on a Fessler touchdown pass to Manus-Schell, a defensive touchdown, a touchdown pass by Fessler to Manus-Schell and a Fessler touchdown run in the quarter.

The defeat comes as a step back for St. Francis, who notched a 53-14 victory over Edison Tech/Monroe in its previous outing. The win brought Cathedral Prep's winning streak to four games.
