Basketball Game Preview: San Marino Titans vs. San Marcos Royals

Having just played yesterday, the San Marino Titans will head out on the road to face off against the San Marcos Royals at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Friday, San Marino strolled past Temple City with points to spare, taking the game 55-40. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 308th, while the Rams are ranked 724th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, San Marcos beat Pacifica 78-67 on Friday.

San Marcos' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for San Marino, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-6.
