They won by a set and slipped past Palmyra-Macedon 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Blue Devils as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Mynderse Academy wouldn't go down easily and took Palmyra-Macedon into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-16, 25-19, 26-28, 15-10.
Meanwhile, Dundee was not able to break out of their rough patch on September 9th as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Arkport Central, falling 3-0.
Mynderse Academy's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-4. As for Dundee, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
