Softball Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

Springfield came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Albany Hornets, falling 11-1. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Albany, they pushed their record up to 9-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Springfield will square off against Bogalusa at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Springfield is facing Bogalusa at the right time seeing as Bogalusa is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Albany, they will take on Sumner at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
