Basketball Recap: Tampa Bay Tech's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wharton, Tampa Bay Tech was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 76-42 win over the Middleton Tigers. The victory was some much needed relief for the Titans as it spelled an end to their ten-game losing streak.

Evan Clark continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6 of 9 on his way to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Javon Russel, who posted seven points and eight rebounds.

Tampa Bay Tech smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Despite the loss, Middleton still got an impressive performance from Darrion Marchman, who had 14 points. Tamarus Johnson was another key player, putting up nine points.

Tampa Bay Tech's win bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Middleton, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tampa Bay Tech will challenge Strawberry Crest at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Middleton, they and Lennard will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
