Redding Christian hasn't had much luck against Los Molinos recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Lions will host the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Redding Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 21-2 margin over Chester on Tuesday. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Volcanoes recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Brodie Ogden made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Redding Christian is undefeated when Ogden allows one or fewer earned runs, but 3-5 otherwise. Ogden was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two).
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Conner Moore, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, five runs, and two RBI. What's more, he posted three hits, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jackson Boring, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Los Molinos made easy work of Biggs on Saturday and carried off a 14-4 victory.
Like Redding Christian, Los Molinos also got a great game from a two-way player: Brody Fimea. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Fimea was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one double.
In other batting news, Jaydin Underwood was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with three runs and two RBI. Harrison Hamre was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three runs and two RBI.
Los Molinos was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are 13-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Los Molinos has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Redding Christian, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
