Baseball Recap: Omaha Central Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Omaha Central took on Bellevue West on Wednesday. Omaha Central took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bellevue West. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Thunderbirds: they've now lost seven in a row.

Marcus Kane made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

Omaha Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bellevue West, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
