Softball Recap: Chief Sealth Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last ten games, Chief Sealth finally came back down to earth on Friday. They lost 21-1 to the Liberty Patriots. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Seahawks have suffered since March 15th.

Chief Sealth's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Liberty, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chief Sealth will take on Franklin at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Seahawks are on a three-game streak of home wins, the Quakers a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. As for Liberty, they will face off against Newport - Bellevue at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
