Volleyball Recap: Krum's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Krum lost against Boyd back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bobcats lost 3-0 to the Yellowjackets. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bobcats have suffered since October 8, 2024.

While Krum ultimately came up short, they really made Boyd work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-23, 27-25, 25-17.

Marlie Morris paced Krum's offense, picking up 14 kills. Morris got some help from Addison Labrum and her 15 assists.

With the loss, Krum broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-3. As for Boyd, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Krum wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Wink on the 21st. As for Boyd, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Decatur on the 21st.
