Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph Catholic Comes Up Short

St. Joseph Catholic lost against Madison-Ridgeland Academy back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bruins came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-20.

Madison-Ridgeland Academy was led to victory by Keira Hariel and Macy Gladden. Hariel had 20 assists and seven digs, while Gladden had 14 digs. That's the most digs Gladden has posted over her last seven contests.

St. Joseph Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Madison-Ridgeland Academy, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 22-11.

Coming up, St. Joseph Catholic will be playing in front of their home fans against Christ Covenant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison-Ridgeland Academy, they will challenge Jackson Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
