Baseball Game Preview: Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights vs. Southeastern Mustangs

The Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights will venture away from home to face off against the Southeastern Mustangs at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Westminster School at Oak Mountain took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Childersburg, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Tigers 6-5 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since March 8th.

Meanwhile, Southeastern narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Locust Fork 8-7. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Westminster School at Oak Mountain now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Southeastern, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.
