Softball Recap: Ranburne Comes Up Short

Ranburne lost against Jacksonville back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs fell 8-3 to the Golden Eagles. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rylann Graham made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.

Ranburne's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Jacksonville, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

Looking ahead, Ranburne will challenge Weaver at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jacksonville, they have already played their next contest, a 5-2 win against Cleburne County on the 11th.
