Soccer Recap: Fossil Ridge Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Fossil Ridge took on Aledo on Friday. The Fossil Ridge Panthers fell 2-0 to the Aledo Bearcats. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly two goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Fossil Ridge and nudges their season record down to 5-4-2. As for Aledo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3-1.

Fossil Ridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Chisholm Trail at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aledo, they are taking a road trip to face off against Saginaw at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Saginaw will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Aledo surely won't give up without a fight.
