Hawthorne Math & Science Academy has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. After both having extra time off, they and the Compton Early College Rising Phoenix will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Animo Leadership scored an imposing 19 runs back in March, Hawthorne Math & Science Academy still came out on top. Hawthorne Math & Science Academy skirted past Animo Leadership 20-19. Meanwhile, Compton Early College pushed their score to 11 the last time they played they, but back in March they couldn't quite do it again. They had just enough and edged Environmental Charter out 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Compton Early College.

Hawthorne Math & Science Academy took their win against Compton Early College when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 15-5.
