Softball Recap: East Clinton Comes Up Short at Home Against Madison Plains

East Clinton unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Madison Plains Golden Eagles on Wednesday, falling 25-1. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Madison Plains' record now sits at 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Clinton will take on West Union at 11:00 a.m. on April 5. As for Madison Plains, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Mt. Gilead at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
