Ninety Six waltzed into their match on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Strom Thurmond Rebels. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The victory didn't come easy: Strom Thurmond scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 23-25, 25-18, 25-19.

Jules Sides and Mollie Bartley certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Sides had 14 digs, while Bartley had five digs and one assist. Sides is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Ninety Six's win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Strom Thurmond, they moved to 10-9 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Ninety Six does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Strom Thurmond, they will face off against Batesburg-Leesville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
