Alonso is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They strolled past Riverview with points to spare, taking the game 54-38. The win was some much needed relief for the Ravens as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Sumner played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Sickles, falling 91-71. The Stingrays' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Alonso will need focus on slowing down Bennard Anson, one of several Sumner players who made an impact when they last played. He went 8 of 11 on his way to 21 points. The dominant performance gave Anson a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Immanuel Kelly, who went 6 for 13 en route to 16 points.

Alonso's victory bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Sumner, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-11.
