Volleyball Recap: Mill Creek Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Mill Creek had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. Everything went their way against the Central Gwinnett Black Knights as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mill Creek took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-9, 25-13.

Samus Hart paced Mill Creek's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hart got some help from Sara Rogers and her 13 assists. Rogers was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 14 aces.

Mill Creek's win bumped their record up to 20-15. As for Central Gwinnett, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Looking ahead, Mill Creek will challenge Collins Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Gwinnett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
