Softball Recap: Evansville Bosse Takes a Loss

Evansville Bosse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Wood Memorial Trojans, falling 21-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 17-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Evansville Bosse saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shyanne Sempson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Evansville Bosse's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Wood Memorial, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Evansville Bosse will challenge Evansville Mater Dei at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wood Memorial, they will head out to challenge Perry Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
