Volleyball Recap: Cape Hatteras Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cape Hatteras lost against Camden County back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hurricanes came up short against the Bruins, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-16, 25-15.

Taylor Hickman paced Cape Hatteras' offense, picking up six kills. Hickman got some help from Eryn Ratliff and her 13 assists. Maya Stuart and Reece Zombro kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Cape Hatteras' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Camden County, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Cape Hatteras and Camden County will both be playing Currituck County the next time they take the court. The Bruins will head out to face the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Hurricanes will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th.
