Volleyball Recap: Corona Comes Up Short

If Corona was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Arroyo Valley on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Corona Panthers fell just short of the Heritage Patriots by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Corona's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Heritage, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Corona and Heritage will both be playing Rancho Cucamonga the next time they take the court. Corona will head out to face Rancho Cucamonga at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Heritage will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
