Baseball Recap: Public Safety Academy Takes a Loss

Public Safety Academy lost against Loma Linda Academy on April 3rd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Phoenix fell 7-4 to the Roadrunners. The Phoenix have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Conrad Henderson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Matt Bennett was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Public Safety Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Loma Linda Academy, the win keeps they at an undefeated 11-0.

Coming up, Public Safety Academy will challenge Weaver at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Phoenix are facing the Monarchs at the right time seeing as the Monarchs are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Loma Linda Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Desert Chapel at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Roadrunners surely won't give up without a fight.
