Baseball Game Preview: Collinsville Kahoks vs. Centennial Chargers

The Collinsville Kahoks will venture away from home to challenge the Centennial Chargers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Collinsville came up short against Routt Catholic and fell 9-4.

Collinsville got a good showing from Logan O'Dell, who struck out nine batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk).

On the hitting side, Collinsville saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Parrill, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Centennial kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against Charleston, falling 12-2. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.
