Family Christian fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Maurepas on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 6-4. The Flames have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Family Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Maurepas, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-9.

Family Christian has already played their next game, a 15-2 victory against East Feliciana on the 21st. As for Maurepas, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-3 defeat against Simsboro on the 21st.
