Football Game Preview: Rogers Rams vs. Spanaway Lake Sentinels + How To Watch

The Rogers Rams will venture away from home to face off against the Spanaway Lake Sentinels at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rogers is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Rogers came up short against South Kitsap and fell 42-35. The Rams gained 262 more yards on the day, but it was the Wolves that made the best use of them.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jaden Kiblinger, who picked up 197 receiving yards and three scores. His longest reception was for an incredible 77 yards. Rashard Boone was another key player, having thrown for 406 yards and three touchdowns.

Rogers didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Lane Mahlum was the real danger to the passing game, picking up two interceptions all by himself.

Meanwhile, Spanaway Lake lost to Graham-Kapowsin at home by a 28-12 margin on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Sentinels in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Rogers will have to contain Malik Burns as he made an impact in Spanaway Lake's last game. He picked up 81 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Rogers' record is now 2-6. As for Spanaway Lake, their record now sits at an identical 2-6.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's game: Rogers has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 368.4 total yards per game. It's a different story for Spanaway Lake, though, as they've been averaging only 165 total yards. Will Rogers be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Sentinels flip the script?

Rogers beat Spanaway Lake 56-49 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Sentinels turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
