Volleyball Recap: Otis' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Otis had to endure a five-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Peetz on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for Otis, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Otis walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-22, 21-25, 25-16.

Kensley Packer paced Otis' offense, picking up 16 kills. Packer got some help from Crysten Goble and her 22 assists. Raya Grimes-Routh controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Otis now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Peetz, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Otis didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Kit Carson on the 28th. As for Peetz, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Akron on the 28th.
