It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bullard had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against North Lamar as they made off with a 7-0 win. Give Bullard's defense some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.

Something new happened on Thursday as Anna Sowers saw her first action of the season, playing 60 minutes against North Lamar. Sowers made the most of the opportunity, putting up one assist A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Bullard's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 59 goals over those nine games. As for North Lamar, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Bullard challenge Henderson on Tuesday. Henderson will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bullard surely won't give up without a fight. North Lamar does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
