Volleyball Recap: Denison-Schleswig Takes a Loss

Denison-Schleswig saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Blair Bears.

Blair found their leader in freshman Addi Svehla, who had 11 digs and two assists. Svehla has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played. Kate Faue also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Denison-Schleswig has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Blair, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-8.

Coming up, Denison-Schleswig will head out to face off against Shenandoah at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blair, they will take on Missouri Valley in a tournament on Saturday.
