Volleyball Recap: Rich Comes Up Short

Rich's tournament run continued when they took on Skyline on Saturday. The Rebels fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 3-2.

Defeat or not, Rich got some senior leadership from Tess Cornia and Paige Smith. Cornia had 19 digs and two aces, while Smith had 32 digs and two assists. Those 19 digs set a new season-high mark for Cornia.

Rich has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-9 record this season. As for Skyline, their win bumped their record up to 11-19.

Rich didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Enterprise on the 11th. As for Skyline, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Grantsville on the 11th.
