Volleyball Recap: Burlington Takes a Loss

Burlington lost against Lexington back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Devils lost 3-0 to the Minutemen. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Burlington took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-14, 25-17.

Emmanuel Mendoza paced Burlington's offense, picking up five kills. Mendoza got some help from Asa Gans and his nine assists.

Burlington's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Lexington, the victory was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-1.

Looking ahead, Burlington will head out to challenge Woburn Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lexington, they will welcome Brookline at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
