St. Joseph Academy is a perfect 5-0 against Horizon Prep since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Crusaders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 6:30 p.m. St. Joseph Academy will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

St. Joseph Academy played against Calvin Christian on Friday and won via forfeit.

Horizon Prep is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 62-24 victory over Calvin Christian. The Lions not only won last Friday, but they posted their biggest win since November 1, 2024 (when they won 50-0).

St. Joseph Academy better keep an eye on Lochlan Church. He was instrumental in Horizon Prep's win, rushing for 237 yards and five TDs while picking up 13.2 yards per carry, and also throwing for 64 yards and one touchdown on only six passes. Church also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging two interceptions. August Tag was another key player, gaining 168 total yards and a touchdown.

Horizon Prep was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 490 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Horizon Prep didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Church led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Prad Parvataneni has been hot recently, having also posted at least one defended passe the last three times he's played.

St. Joseph Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Horizon Prep, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Everything came up roses for St. Joseph Academy against Horizon Prep when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 66-6 win. Do the Crusaders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
