ROWVA/Williamsfield had already won nine in a row and they went ahead and made it ten on Wednesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bureau Valley Storm. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was ROWVA/Williamsfield who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 31-29, 23-25, 25-23.

ROWVA/Williamsfield found their leader in sophomore Eliza Tucker, who had 18 digs. Those 18 digs set a new season-high mark for Tucker.

ROWVA/Williamsfield's victory bumped their record up to 29-6. As for Bureau Valley, they dropped their record down to 15-15 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

ROWVA/Williamsfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bureau Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Riverdale on the 23rd.
