Baseball Recap: Boiling Springs Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lancaster Catholic last Monday, Boiling Springs came back down to earth. The Boiling Springs Bubblers lost 15-8 to the East Pennsboro Panthers on Wednesday. The Bubblers haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Mason Labuda was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Chance Flor, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Boiling Springs' loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boiling Springs will take on Muhlenberg at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Pennsboro, they will host Selinsgrove at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
