Heritage gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Lightridge Bolts 32-31. The Pride haven't had any issues with the Bolts recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Reed Alexander went supernova, rushing for 180 yards and three TDs. Another back making a difference was Luke Olszewski, who rushed for 143 yards.

Coming up, Heritage will take on Millbrook at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. As for Lightridge, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Broad Run at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
