D'Evelyn and Pueblo South squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but D'Evelyn had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Colts by a score of 3-2. The Jaguars' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Their offense was headlined by Elijah Osborne and Isaac Osborne, who picked up 14 kills apiece. They got some help from Tarin Cavanaugh and his 50 assists. Elijah was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

D'Evelyn's defeat dropped their record down to 23-4. As for Pueblo South, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

D'Evelyn wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Lutheran on the 9th. As for Pueblo South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Regis Groff on the 10th.
