Excelsior Springs's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Winnetonka Griffins by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Jordin Price paced Excelsior Springs' offense, picking up 21 kills. Price got some help from Lillah Shue and her 28 assists. Shue also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Bayli Crowley, each putting up three.

Excelsior Springs moved to 7-14-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Winnetonka, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12-2 record this season.
