Basketball Game Preview: Eastern Montgomery Mustangs vs. Highland Rams

The Eastern Montgomery Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Highland Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Eastern Montgomery is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Bath County just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 45-44 to the Chargers.

Meanwhile, Highland took a blow against Narrows on Friday, falling 63-31.

Eastern Montgomery's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Highland, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

Eastern Montgomery strolled past Highland in their previous matchup back in February of 2025 by a score of 49-30. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
