Basketball Recap: San Pasqual Academy Dragons vs. Borrego Springs Rams
The San Pasqual Academy Dragons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They put the hurt on Borrego Springs with a sharp 64-38 win. San Pasqual Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 26 points or more this season.
Despite the loss, Borrego Springs had strong showings from Christopher Alcaraz, who scored 24 points along with two steals, and Brody White, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 19 rebounds. That was a full 34.2% of Borrego Springs' points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
San Pasqual Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Borrego Springs, they dropped their record down to 9-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
