Volleyball Recap: Gulfport Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Gulfport lost against Our Lady Academy on August 7th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Admirals fell 2-0 to the Crescents. The Admirals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Our Lady Academy scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17.

Gulfport now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Our Lady Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Gulfport and Our Lady Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings. The Admirals (ranked 29th) will meet West Harrison (ranked 101st) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Our Lady Academy will take on St. Patrick at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (1 vs. 44).
