Softball Recap: Souhegan Comes Up Short

Souhegan was the 25-0 winner over Trinity when they last played one another back in April of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Sabers came up short against the Pioneers on Thursday, falling 13-6. That's two games in a row now that the Sabers have lost by exactly seven runs.

Isabelle Brandt was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. Grace Harrold was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Souhegan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Souhegan will venture away from home to challenge Oyster River at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Trinity, they will head out to face off against St. Thomas Aquinas at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
