Softball Game Preview: Madison Comprehensive Rams vs. Findlay Trojans

The Madison Comprehensive Rams will venture away from home to square off against the Findlay Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Madison Comprehensive is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.

Madison Comprehensive proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 22) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past Clear Fork 3-2.

Meanwhile, Findlay entered their tilt with Napoleon on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Wildcats 11-1. Considering the Trojans have won ten contests by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Madison Comprehensive's win was their 11th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Findlay, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.

Madison Comprehensive was able to grind out a solid victory over Findlay when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 7-2. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
