Alex Thompson Game Report: @ Hickory

On Friday, Alex Thompson posted her first game with 5+ steals. She posted 20 points along with 12 rebounds and five steals, helping propel Grassfield past Hickory by a score of 67-39. We rated that as her best effort of the season, easily topping her previous best, set last Friday, when she went 5 for 9 on her way to 12 points and seven boards (Gamescore: 21.7 vs. 11.5).

Thompson and Grassfield will face off against Oscar Smith at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. Thompson will face off against Zyonna Ellis, the Tigers' star forward. With so much talent on the court, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
