Preview: Holbrook Roadrunners vs. Winslow Bulldogs
The Holbrook Roadrunners will be playing in front of their home fans against the Winslow Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Winslow took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Holbrook, who comes in off a win.
Holbrook's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Payson 44-42. The victory was just what Holbrook needed coming off of a 59-28 loss in their prior matchup.
Winslow suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Wednesday. They were beaten by Monument Valley 65-32. Winslow has not had much luck with Monument Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Holbrook's victory bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Winslow, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
Holbrook was able to grind out a solid win over Winslow in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 60-48. Will Holbrook repeat their success, or does Winslow have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
